Corner Lot Beauty
This highly visible corner lot front yard needed some wow factor. We proposed a full tear out of everything except the mature pear tree.
Our design features a new retaining wall to match the natural stone on the facade of the home and lots of colorful perennials with a balance of evergreens for winter interest. Large beds were needed to balance the size of the property and sweeping curved bed lines help softening the straight lines of the house and corner lot
Evergreen plantings include the upright boxwoods and a dwarf spruce. Combined with a colorful blend of perennials such as purple lythrum, catmint, yellow coreopsis and dayliles, pink dianthus and dark purple veronica. The sweet bay magnolia bring a fabulous white spring flower with tons of fragrance. Some of the beds are accented with 2-3" river rock, boulders and flagstone steppers.
